This is my first time making an infographic. I went with Canva and found that it was incredibly user friendly when making one for the first time. I really enjoyed looking through the different templates to come up with an idea of the different common types that are out there. One downside that I found was when it came to adding pictures or graphics almost everyone that I searched for cost money. It wasn't very expensive and I could see it being very reasonable for businesses or institutions to purchase them. In the end I created an infographic that explains the differences between trademark and copyright.
Very informative post! For me, learning the difference, or even what each was in this style is a much more memorable way. It paints a clearer picture. Good job of capturing the use and abilities of infographics for learning!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I tend to retain more information when it is presented in this type of format. Thanks for the kind words.
DeleteHi Corey,
ReplyDeleteThe color scheme adds so much more than just a blank page with black lettering. I also like how you compare the two topics side by side. It makes understanding trademarks and copyright so much easier. Your right the cost may be worth it. This tool can be used in a number of different ways. I plan on using it professionally and I'm pretty bummed out I have only discovered it.
Thanks,
Nicole Barnes
I am also surprised I am just finding out about this type of tool. Its pretty good, and I enjoyed messing around with it.
DeleteI really enjoyed your Infographic. It was interesting and relevant. I know that I can get them confused sometimes, and you lined the information out in a way that is easy to understand.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori, I also found myself not really understanding these differences until this class. I've done quite a bit of research for this blog on the subject and still find both incredibly complex.
DeleteHey Cory,
ReplyDeleteI like the subject of your info-graph I would find it very useful if I was considering publishing some work that I wanted to share and protect as my idea. I like the use of contrasting color to make the words pop off the page and show the distinction between each point made. You have made this memorable to retain in long term memory.
Thanks,
